Transient House One Jeep Ride to Wright Park, Mines View, and The Mansion

From VOS, walk out the gate and you're at Zonta Park in about 30 seconds. That's where you catch the jeep. Fare is 13 to 15 pesos per person.

In order of distance: Wright Park is the nearest, about a 7-minute ride. The Mansion is next, around 9 minutes. Mines View is the farthest of the three, 12 to 15 minutes. One jeep, one line, no transfers between them.

Go between 9 AM and 4 PM. That's the window that works best for weather, crowds, and jeep availability.

Don't plan on going at night. Jeeps heading to and from these three spots get hard to catch once it's dark, and you don't want to be stuck figuring out a ride back from Mines View after sunset.

One thing matters more than anything else: bring a jacket. All three spots are higher up and more exposed than the city center, and it's noticeably colder than a walk down Session Road.

Bring some cash too, small bills for the jeep fare and anything you want to buy at Mines View's souvenir stalls or Wright Park's horseback riding.

Most of the guests who do this loop are couples, often early in dating, since Wright Park's horseback riding and the classic Mines View photo spot are part of the standard Baguio dating circuit. Families come too, since these three spots are some of the most visited in the whole region.

My own personal favorite of the three is Mines View. The view up there is genuinely chill, the kind of spot where you just stand and take it in for a while.

Some places really are closer to Wright Park or Mines View than we are. What they usually give up is everything else. A transient built around being near those three spots is often nowhere near SM, Session Road, or Burnham Park, so you're trading one kind of convenience for another.

If you're budgeting your trip, the jeep is the better call. At 13 to 15 pesos a person, it's a fraction of what a Grab or a private tour van would cost for the same three stops, and it's genuinely my own preference too.

A private tour makes more sense if you're short on time and want to hit all three back to back without waiting for a jeep to fill up. For most guests staying a few days, the jeep is fine.

You'll come back a little tired and a little cold after a day at these three spots. Here's what's waiting: a hot shower, fresh blankets, a clean bed, and Netflix. That combination is exactly what you want after being out in the cooler air all afternoon.
