The Genesis and Joy Bus terminal sits on General Luna, and a lot of arriving passengers assume they're in for a taxi ride. You're not. From the terminal, you walk through SM City Baguio, roughly 2 to 3 minutes, come out the front, and it's another 3 minutes to VOS Baguio Transient House at 92 Valenzuela Street. About 6 minutes in total. The only real reason to take a taxi is heavy luggage. Guests tell us they're surprised how easy the place is to find, and after a 4 or 5 hour ride up from Manila, a short walk to a room beats hunting for a ride.
Why Stay at VOS Baguio Transient When Visiting Genesis / Joy Bus Terminal
Joy Bus trips often land at dawn, which creates the problem nobody warns you about: your room isn't ready until 2 PM. We open at 6 AM and hold luggage for free, so you drop your bags and go walk SM, Session Road, and Burnham Park while you wait. If your bus gets in at 4 or 5 AM, grab breakfast at one of the restaurants near the terminal first, then come by once we're up. The same convenience works in reverse on your way out. Checkout is 12 PM, but you can leave your luggage with us, spend the rest of the day in the city, and collect it on your way to the terminal.
