Baguio Transient Rates: How Our Peak Season Pricing Works

Base rate, plus a flat monthly uplift once peak season starts. October adds ₱100 per room. November adds ₱200. December, up to the 14th, adds ₱300.

That's flat across every room type. A solo room and an eight-person family room both go up by the same ₱100 in October. It isn't proportional, so the bigger rooms get proportionally better value as the season climbs.

Base rates, which apply through September:

• Solo room, 1 pax, shared CR: ₱799

• Budget room, 2 pax, shared CR: ₱899

• Room with private CR, 2 pax: ₱1,299

• Family room, 4 pax: ₱2,799

• Family room, 6 pax: ₱3,499

• Family room, 8 pax: ₱4,399

October, add ₱100: ₱899 solo, ₱999 budget, ₱1,399 private CR, ₱2,899 family for 4.

November, add ₱200: ₱999 solo, ₱1,099 budget, ₱1,499 private CR, ₱2,999 family for 4.

December 1 to 14, add ₱300: ₱1,099 solo, ₱1,199 budget, ₱1,599 private CR, ₱3,099 family for 4.

Our booking calendar is currently open through December 14. Everything after that is covered in the next section.

It tracks the weather more than the calendar. The rain and typhoons ease off after September, so visitor numbers start climbing in October. It isn't full peak yet, which is why October only adds ₱100.

November builds on that, and December is peak proper. We're fully booked most of December in a normal year. The uplift reflects demand rather than anything changing about the room.

The calendar stops at December 14 on purpose. December 15 through to the first day or two of January is the highest-demand stretch of the entire year, and I haven't set those rates yet.

I'd rather take the time and get it right than post a number now and revise it later. Those dates fill regardless, so there's no advantage to me in rushing it. I expect to decide and release them in October.

If you're planning Christmas or New Year in Baguio, check back in October. The slots open then and you'll still have a real chance at a room.

The downpayment stays the same year-round at 30%. The minimum stay is what tightens.

Normally it's a 2-night minimum on Friday and Saturday. During the super peak around Christmas and New Year, expect a 3-night minimum, and no single-night stays at all. I'm not fixing the exact start date here because it goes out with the December 15 rates in October, but plan around roughly the week before Christmas.

If a one-night stay over the holidays is what you need, book elsewhere. I'd rather say that now than have you find out at the booking stage.

If value is what you're optimising for, come during the rainy season. Base rates, fewer people, and Baguio is genuinely pleasant between the showers. That's the cheapest the year gets.

If you want peak season, expect to pay peak prices. That's true across the whole city, not just here. Nobody in Baguio charges September rates at Christmas, and anyone advertising otherwise is worth a second look.

One to two weeks is the working window for most dates. Weekdays are more forgiving and we can sometimes take a walk-in if there's space. Friday and Saturday need booking ahead, and during October to December that goes double.
